Speakers

Tiger McLuen
Tiger McLuen is the Executive Director of Youth Ministry Consultants. Tiger has a unique perspective on leadership as he has served in the church, was an instructor at two seminaries, led Youth Leadership for 29 years and is a nationally known speaker and teacher. He is also the author of a couple of books and some articles – but mostly he’s a youth leader who loves being in a room full of people who care about the next generation. Tiger and Sue have been married for 42 years and have 4 grown children. The addition of 9 grandchildren has been a huge part of God’s blessing!! When Tiger isn’t speaking or coaching—you can find him working around the house, riding his motorcycle, boating/skiing, sneaking out to a matinee movie or eating healthy food at a variety of fast food places.

Joelle Hassler
Joelle is a 20 year+ youth pastor serving churches across the twin-cities. She loves students, and when she is not speaking from the platform, you can find her hanging with her husband and two kids, grabbing coffee with friends or staying up late watching reruns of American Ninja Warrior!
She is a follower of Jesus with a passion to see the Kingdom of God expand here on Earth. Joelle holds a Bachelors in Youth Ministries and Biblical & Theological Studies from Bethel University in St. Paul and a Master of Divinity from Bethel Seminary. She would love to be a speaker at your next event, a presenter at your conference, or share about Jesus in any way that serves your ministry. Fun facts about Joelle: She enjoys things like infomercials, McDonald’s, concerts, fashion and staying up really, really late.

Cesar Castillejos
Cesar Castillejos is currently serving students and families in Richfield, Minnesota, through collaboration with Young Life and Hope Church. He serves as the Young Life area director and lead teaching pastor of The Well, a faith community that started in a nightclub. Cesar is also the founder of One of One Clothing Company, a mission-focused business that uses creativity to spotlight the uniqueness of every individual.
“Over the years I’ve seen too many young people pursuing lives that were not their own. Whether it was to please their parents or to fit in with their friends, they would make everyone else happy but lose themselves in the process. I want to bring a message of hope and empowerment to young people, so they can discover their gifts and passions and use them to shape the world around them. My Mission: To inspire people to LIVE UP to their full potential and encourage them SPEAK LIFE into those around them.”
Worship
SFB
The Summer Festival Band (SFB), provides music and worship as the house band for Summer Festival Camp. The current iteration of the band has been together for seven years and is currently led by Marc Bromaghim-Oropeza (acoustic guitar and vocals). Each of the musicians in the SFB has a deep passion for music and they are all involved with leading music at their local churches. Like the Power Rangers becoming the Megazord, something special happens when these musicians, with their different backgrounds, take the stage together to lead students in worship. The band is focused on excellence on stage, along with embedding themselves in the rest of the experience to get to know students and help them grow in their faith.
